New Google Image Search

Once again this year google update or beta testing its own image search engine, currently I'm testing Google uk site for testing, but google malaysia remain with the same result page. I like the latest one, because we can browse more than one page in single site. In fact it works well with my frame free script, script that goes directly to my blog when the image is find in the image search result, so it is a good potential for advertising campaign.

try this

Google UK

Google Malaysia

Google's new Image Search uses a different layout and enlarges pictures when users hover the mouse over them
Google Image Search is to be changed to include live enlargement of images as users hover their mouse over them, a denser layout of images of varying sizes and better navigation. The page displayed when users click on an image will also be updated to take users to the picture’s original location more quickly.

My Honda Tak Guna

Honda sucks!, when I surf around from one to another site, I found this forum thread , with the suspicious title indeed "My Honda Tak Guna". This is the story that I quote entirely from carigold.com. I'm very sorry to the owner of the following Honda Accord. As for me, might consider opt to continental car or public transport. Through my experience, customer service and support very bad here in Malaysia.

So let us read the following story :

Owner faces ceaseless brake issues with Honda car but no resolution

PETALING JAYA: How far will you go to get your car fixed? In these day of light-speed emails, instant messages and cellphones, an irate car-owner decided to adopt an old-school method of seeking redress — by placing stickers all over his problematic car.

And the message on the stickers read: "My Honda Tak Guna" (My Useless Honda).

To make sure he got the full attention of the car manufacturer, this sticker-adorned vehicle was parked outside the Honda Malaysia sales and service office here in Section 13 — much to the amusement of many pedestrians and motorists.

As to why he had resorted to such measures, events executive Jess Ross said his car brakes kept failing despite several repairs.

"Three months after buying the car, the rear brakes started giving way.After having these replaced by Honda, the same problem occurred three months later with the brakes giving way in the middle of the road.

"Luckily, I wasn't hit by another car when it happened."

After sending the 15-month old car to the Honda authorised service centre, Sumber Auto, Ross claimed to have been told the car had its rear brake callipers fitted wrongly during the original assembly.

Even after the brake calipers were rectified, Jess' woes continued with the calamitous Honda Accord he bought for about RM140,000.

Three months later, after getting his disc brake pads replaced for the second time, his Honda Accord started juddering again.

This time Honda mentioned the brake discs needed to be skimmed.

"On June 20 , there was a screeching sound from my front wheels and the car started juddering again. This time, I decided enough was enough. The car was towed to the Honda service centre for a fourth check on this particular screeching issue."

Claiming manufacturing defects, Ross said: "My demands are simple, firstly I want Honda to fully rectify the problems on my car and include a manufacturer's guarantee that such defects will not recur.

"Secondly, Honda could replace my car with another guaranteed problem-free unit. If all else fails, I want Honda to buy back the car at the purchase price.

"Honestly, I am still open to negotiations and a win-win situation I feel, is the best for both parties," he said, stressing he has no plans to remove the eye-catching stickers from his car.

A Honda Malaysia representative said the company remained committed to inspecting, servicing and repairing the problematic vehicle.

"The company would like to assure Ross the affected vehicle will be serviced and repaired to his satisfaction." Still unhappy with this response, Ross asked: "Why is it Honda Malaysia can't guarantee their parts, which serve a basic function of braking, to function properly?

"Is it too much to ask for a guarantee for their supposedly original parts which they recommended we use?"

Mari kongsi cerita

OK lama plak aku tak tulis kat blog nih, semua main feed dari web site org. yes, blog aku ni takde niche, bak kat opis mate aku carca marba. Apa yg aku rasa penting aku post kat sini dan kalau nak baca amatlah di galakkan. Tapi pagi2 buta ni aku terbaca satu post dari blog janawangadsense.com, macamana seorang IT engineer turn out to be successful internet entrepreneur, baca lah best utk motivasi kpd mereka2 yg suka duit digital. Huhu...

Pengalaman Berkerja

Kalau orang lain mungkin tidur sebelah isteri, saya pula tidur sebelah handphone.

No Life.. No Life… No Life…

Pernah tak anda kerja "around the clock, follow the sun"?

Perniagaan Internet Saya Bermula

TERTIPU? mungkin!

Saya PUTUS ASA? KECEWA?….No Way!

Pernigaan Internet Yang Pertama

Knowledge & Skills First

http://Give2Gain.blogspot.com

Ku Sangka Panas Hingga Ke Petang, Rupanya Hujan Di Tengahari

Saya PUTUS ASA? KECEWA? Oh ho.. NO WAY! Tidak ada dalam kamus hidup saya.

Kenapa? sebab saya gain knowledge yang saya boleh expand in the future.

Seminar Dan Bengkel

"No Magic" Please…

It Will NEVER Happen That Way!

Make your first dollar then the rest will come. [Yakin lah Rezeki Dari Allah!]

So camna ?, ok?. Nak compare dgn pengalaman aku, aku kerja dlm 2-3 thn jer yg agak mencabar lepas tu sampai ni , relax sikit kerja, bila kerja relax gaji pun relax la jugak hahahah... now aku tgh sambung belajar (relax lagi)...next year baru katam...so dlm ample time ni banyak le masa nak buat internet marketing, trust me, d internet worth so much for us.

Where to Submit my Site?

Submit your site

A lot of bloggers and webmasters tries to submit their website to many search engines they can get. But, the main question is the “Is it a useful technique?”. My answer to this question is below.

Well, as I’ve say, over 80% of the all traffic to this blog comes directly from the search engines on the internet. But, in the practice that’s mostly the most powerful and most popular search engine – Google. More than 90% of the all search engine (organic) traffic to my blog comes from the Google.

Manual Submission

Below, I’ll list the manual submission forms for the all popular search engines on the internet, where you should submit your blog or a website for sure.

Submission to the above search engines are the most important. Actually, many third-party search engines on the planet uses their engines and they can give you some results for sure.

Automatic Submission

Since I like to submit my blogs manually, there’re some popular automatic submission services on the internet that can submit your site to the multiple search engines.

Please note that by the automatic submission you can’t get 100% guarantee that your site would be successfully crawled for the specific search engine. Actually, most search engines simply doesn’t like the automatic submission services and scripts on the internet.

Advanced Submission

The most popular search engines on the planet allows you to use an advanced submission technique – by submitting your own RSS feed or sitemap file of your site. This may help search engine to find the pages on your site more effectively. You can submit your site using following services:

  • Google Webmaster Central – Allowing you to add your site sitemap or feed and get you the information about your content from the selected sitemap or feed you provide.
  • Yahoo! Site Explorer – Allows you to add your feed or sitemap to improve overall Yahoo! crawl rate of your site. Unfortunately, doesn’t have much more information about your sitemap like Google does.
  • Bing Webmaster Tools – The Bing search engine is formerly known like live search engine. Owned by Microsoft. This is a collection of tools where you can submit your sitemap and feed and see more useful information.

I strongly recommend you to use only these three search engines as your main primary goal, specially take care about the most popular and the most effective one – Google. Other search engines likes to crawl the other popular search engines to find the listings for their own search engine results pages.

Open source alternative for Active Directory

Ever since Active Directory was introduced with Windows 2000 Server, Microsoft has had the upper hand for enterprise account management. Active Directory provides central administration which is essential in any enterprise or corporate environment. But, the open source community responded with a product that is full featured, and very powerful. It's currently called the "389 Directory Server", and is developed as part of the Fedora Project (Red Hat's free Linux operating system).

Originally, it was called the Fedora Directory Server, introduced in 2005, but it was later renamed to 389 Directory Server. It can interface with Microsoft's Active Directory, and since it is LDAP based it is extremely fast and powerful, and can be interfaced with from other devices that support LDAP authentication. Even client authentication is possible (in Linux, configuring PAM to use it as an authentication service). It also offers a full featured console for easy remote administration.

A full list of features can be found on the Fedora Project page for 389 Directory Server:

http://directory.fedoraproject.org/wiki/Features

And screenshots are also available:

http://directory.fedoraproject.org/wiki/Screenshots

I have been quite impressed at the number of features and functionality of 389 Directory Server. Successful migrations from Windows Active Directory to 389 Directory Server have been documented. Finally, an open source solution to closed source Active Directory, without the hassles of Windows maintenance.

Inline comments for blogger blogs

Blogger have developed an inline (embedded) comment form which can be enabled through Blogger in Draft. This is probably the most requested feature for Blogger, and I'm sure many of you will want to use this straight away!

To enable inline comments for your Blogger powered blog, you need to log into your dashboard through Blogger in Draft. Then go to Settings>Comments and scroll down the page to see the new "Comment form placement" setting:

Check the radio setting for "Embedded below post" which will enable the display of the comment form below your blog posts.

If you have customized your template, you will need to make a small change to your template code for this comment form to display. But don't worry, it's a very simple customization to make!

Simply go to Layout>Edit HTML in your blog's dashboard and check the "Expand widget templates" box.

Then search for this section of code:

<p class='comment-footer'>
<b:if cond='data:post.allowComments'>
<a expr:href='data:post.addCommentUrl' expr:onclick='data:post.addCommentOnclick'><data:postCommentMsg/></a>
</b:if>
</p>

Replace this entire section of code with the following instead:

<p class='comment-footer'>

<b:if cond='data:post.embedCommentForm'>
<b:include data='post' name='comment-form'/>
<b:else/>
<b:if cond='data:post.allowComments'>
<a expr:href='data:post.addCommentUrl' expr:onclick='data:post.addCommentOnclick'><data:postCommentMsg/></a>

</b:if>
</b:if>

</p>

Then save your template.

Now when you view a post page in your blog, you should see the new comment form in place!

Other option - (might work as well)
try this instead:

Search for this line in your template code:

<b:include data='post' name='comments' />

Immediately after this line, add the following line of code:

<b:include data='post' name='comment-form'/>

Then save your template.

If you don't see your comment form, make sure you have changed this setting through Blogger in Draft and have added your code in the correct place in your template.

You can see this comment form in action beneath this post. Using this comment form allows readers to comment using their Google account, OpenID, Name/URL and all of the settings previously available when using a pop-up or full page comment form (depending on the settings you have chosen).
